Damn Abigail and her damn cowboy boots and frilly skirt and lacey tights. Her skillz at the camera are misleading they do remind me of cobrasnake.
Alright, so I've been kind of obsessed over shoes since hot chocolate & mint (link in my blogroll) posted her polyvore on shoes she wanted. So I made my own wish list. I'm seeing a pattern, and an average price tag well out of my range (range: free - almost free.)
It's certainly not all the shoes I wish I could have--just the one's that polyvore allowed me to put up. I'm in love with all the shoes Susie posted in her latest entry, and the shoes from Punky Vintage are affordable and adorable. Gah, all my shoes pale in comparison to the beauties I'm looking at the moment.
I'm into rompers, jumpsuits, and one piece outfits right now--you throw them on with some jewelery and some pumps and boom, you're fly. kova&T remind me of AA for their leggings and some of their looks, but their one pieces and jumpsuits make me want to grab the nearest credit card. Everything is wearable and sexy. I especially love the above look.
This has pretty much nothing to do with jumpsuits, but the new Target Go collection launched yesterday. I haven't had the chance to check it out, but if you have, was it what you expected?
Also.
This week Juniors are taking the HSPA which allows everyone else to have the morning off. Tommorow we can come in at 12:45 (read: 1:05) so I plan to go thrifting and eat many many cupcakes from Greenwich Village. We can go in later the day after and Thursday as well, so I know by the end of the week I will have surmassed a nice pile of new-old clothes and a very empty wallet. Fun times!
On Friday I'll be going to a friend's Art Opening downtown, so I'm going to be doing a bit of shameless advertising right now because I know a good portion of my readers (but not my commenters, tsk tsk tsk) live in my area. This friend is also the friend that would like me to start a sewing lesson and premiere a line sometime soon so he can premiere it in Russia on his reality show. (I don't know, he's big in Russia.....) The opening is in Downtown Jersey City near Van Vorst Park, at 5:00 pm. It's at 282 Barrow St. (at Montgomery St.), the top floor.
Also, I have a clothes swap in the works, (that means Zoe, you can't complain about my wardrobe because I'll technically be giving it away!) so people in my area just hit me up and I'll add you to the list.
